‘Velayudham’ to release before Diwali?
With Vijay wrapping up the shooting of ‘Velayudham’ fast on heels, it is being spread on airs that there might be chances of releasing the movie much before Diwali. Just when the movie was launched as a grand affair, it was announced that producer Aascar Ravichandran is planning to release the movie for the festive occasion of Diwali. In fact, Vijay and other actors had given long call sheet for this movie. But now it looks like the shooting will be completed within short span of time.
The reason?
Vijay had no big projects much before the release of ‘Kaavalan’. But soon as the film turned to be a good hit, the actor was thrown into absolute surprise as he was called back for Shankar’s ‘Nanban’ followed by an incredulous surprise of Manirathnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ in which performs lead role alongside Vikram and Vishal.

விஜய் வந்ததும் கேக் வெட்டிக் கொண்டாட்டம்
ஷங்கர் இயக்கத்தில் விஜய் நடிக்கும் நண்பன் படத்தின் ஷூட்டிங் பரபரப்பாக நடந்து வருகிறது. ஆல்ரெடி படத்தின் முதல் கட்டப் படபிடிப்பை ஊட்டியில் முடித்துவிட்டார் ஷங்கர். விஜய் இல்லாத காட்சிகள் ஊட்டியில் படமாக்கப்பட்டது. இரண்டாவது கட்டப் படபிடிப்பு தேஹ்ராடடூனில் தொடங்கி உள்ளது.
வேலாயுதம் படத்தின் ஷுட்டிங்கை நிறுத்திவிட்டு நண்பன் படத்தின் ஷூட்டிங்கில் கலந்துக் கொண்டார் விஜய். விஜய் வந்த நாளே செட்டில் செம பார்ட்டியாம், ஏனென்றால் அன்றுதான் படத்தில் நடிக்கும் இன்னொரு நாயகன் ஸ்ரீகாந்துக்கு பிறந்தநாளாம். விஜய், ஜீவா, ஷங்கர் எல்லோரும் ஸ்ரீகாந்தை ஆர்ச்சரியப்படுத்தும் வகையில் கேக்வெட்டி கொண்டாடி உள்ளனர்.
தேஹ்ராடூனில் ஒரு கல்லூரியில் படபிடிப்பு நடந்து வருகிறது. இதில் படத்தின் முக்கியமான காட்சிகளை படமாக்கி வருகிறார் ஷங்கர். விஜய், ஜீவா, ஸ்ரீகாந்த் உட்பட நாயகி இலியானா, இலியானாவின் சகோதரியாக வரும் இன்னொரு நாயகி அனுயா, படத்தில் முக்கிய காத்தாப் பாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கும் இயக்குனர் எஸ்.ஜே.சூர்யா, நடன இயக்குனர் ராகவா லாரன்ஸ் என ஸ்டார் கொண்டாட்டத்தை நடத்தி வருகிறார் ஷங்கர்.
ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜின் இசையில் நான்கு பாடல்கள் மெட்டமைக்கப் பட்டுவிட்டதாம். கம்போசிங் வேலைகளை லண்டனில் முடித்து விட்டு சென்னை திரும்பியிருக்கிறார் ஹாரிஸ். இந்தி ’3 இடியட்ஸ்’சில் ’ஆள் இஸ் வேல்’ என்ற பாடல் ரொம்ப பிரபலம். அந்தப் பாடலை அப்படியே வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம் என ஷங்கர் முடிவு செய்தார்.
ஆனால் எல்லா பாடல்களுமே புதுசாக இருந்தால் நன்றாக இருக்குமே என்று ஹாரிஸும் ஷங்கரும் பேசி முடிவெடுத்தார்களாம். ஹாரிஸின் மெலோடிக்கு நான் ரசிகன் என்று அடிக்கடி மேடைகளில் சொல்லும் விஜய் அவரின் இசையில் நடிப்பது இதுவே முதல் முறை.
தமிழக சட்டசபை தேர்தலுக்கு பிறகு பகலவன் ஷூட்டிங்!
சீமான் இயக்கத்தில் விஜய் நடிக்கும் படம் 'பகவலன்'. இலங்கை தமிழர்களுக்கு ஆதரவாக பேசி, சிறை சென்ற சீமான், சிறையில் இருந்தபடியே பகலவன் படத்திற்கான மொத்த கதை, திரைக்கதையை எழுதி முடித்தார். சிறையில் இருந்து வெளியே வந்த சீமான், தமிழக சட்டசபை தேர்தலுக்கு பிறகு பகலவன் ஷூட்டிங் தொடங்க திட்டமிட்டுள்ளாராம்.

Vijays Pagalavan a boon for his political image
Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Nanban and Velayudham seem to be the most probable releases for 2011, now here is some latest news from the actors much talked about flick Pagalavan(Another name of Sun in Tamil). The movie has already created much furore among fans for Vijay teaming up with the controversial director Seeman for this new flick. Sometime back there was news that the actor will be playing a doctor providing relief to the Eelam
Tamils in the movie, but now close sources reveal that the actor will is all set to don the role of a social revolutionary.
Moreover Seeman has scripted some real chest-thumping vociferous dialogues that will see Ilayathalapathy Vijay breath fire onscreen.
Vijay heard the final take on the movie from Seeman who has completely sketched out all the scenes and on hearing the script coupled with those punchy nerve racking punch lines the actor was so pumped that he himself expressed a keen interest to kick start the project soon.
The only hindrance on the road being whether it will be Kalaipuli S Thanu or Super Good films banner producing the movie, as the former seems to have shown a disinterest in funding the project. Vijay recently completed his Velayudhamshoots and is putting up with Director Shankar’s Nanban team in the river valleys of Dehradun. All production deals relating to Pagalvan will be sorted out soon as the project will kick start as soon as elections are done with.
One thing we can assure is that Pagalvan will definitely be a boon for Vijay’s political image and no one could have predicted a better timing for this project as it will strongly favor in multiplying the ‘mass hero’ image of the actor.

Ilayathalapathy joins Nanban team, celebrates
Vijay is now in Dehradun with the rest of the Nanban team. The cast and crew left for this exotic place recently and the Ilayathalapathy has also joined them as planned.
The shooting of this film is now progressing at a break-neck speed with director Shankar calling the shots.
Notwithstanding the hectic schedules, the Nanban team took some time off for celebrations on 28th February to cheer up the birthday boy Srikanth, who plays one of the lead roles on the film.
The cast and crew, including Shankar, Vijay and Jiiva, wished Srikanth and arranged for a birthday bash later on in which everyone present reveled.
இலங்கையில் திரையிட அசின் படத்துக்கு அனுமதி
அசின் படத்தை இலங்கையில் திரையிட சிங்கள அரசு அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளது.விடுதலைப்புலிகளுக்கு ஆதரவாக செயல்படும் தமிழ் நடிகர்களை இலங்கை அரசு பட்டியலிட்டு வைத்துள்ளது. அவர்கள் படங்களை இலங்கையில் திரையிட அனுமதி அளிப்பது இல்லை.
அந்த வகையில் விஜய் படத்துக்கும் தற்போது எதிர்ப்பு கிளம்பியுள்ளது. நாகையில் இலங்கை அரசை கண்டித்து நாகப்பட்டினத்தில் நடந்த கூட்டத்தில் விஜய் பங்கேற்று பேசினார். தமிழக மீனவர்களை இலங்கை கடற்படையினர் தாக்குவதை கடுமையாக கண்டித்தார்.மீனவர்கள் மீதான தாக்குதலை நிறுத்த வேண்டும் என்றும் இங்குள்ளவர்கள் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து எதிர்த்தால் இலங்கை காணாமல் போய் விடும் எனறும் ஆவேசமாக பேசினார். இந்த பேச்சுக்கள் சிங்களர்களை ஆத்திரமூட்டியது. விஜய் படங்களை இலங்கையில் திரையிட அனுமதிக்கக்கூடாது என்று எதிர்த்தனர்.
இந்த நிலையில் விஜய், அசின் ஜோடியாக நடித்த “காவலன்” படம் இலங்கையில் திரையிட அனுப்பப்பட்டு உள்ளது. இதற்கு அனுமதி அளிக்கலாமா வேண்டாமா என்பது குறித்து அதிகாரிகள் கூடி ஆலோசித்தனர்.
இறுதியில் அசின் இப்படத்தில் நடித்து இருப்பதால் அவருக்காக படத்தை இலங்கையில் திரையிட அனுமதி அளித்ததாக தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது. தமிழ் திரையுலகினர் தடையை மீறி சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன் அசின் இலங்கை சென்றார். அங்கு நடந்த இந்தி படப்பிடிப்பில் பங்கேற்றார்.
பிற நடிகர்கள் இலங்கை பயணத்தை தவிர்த்த நிலையில் அசின் துணிச்சலாக வந்தது சிங்கள அரசுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியது. அவருக்கு விசேஷ வரவேற்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டது. சிறப்பு பாதுகாப்பும் அளிக்கப்பட்டது. அவருக்காகவே “காவலன்” படத்தை திரையிட சம்மதித்து உள்ளனர்.
'கொஞ்சம் நேரம்' வந்து போகும் கோலிவுட் ஸ்டார்ஸ்
கோலிவுட்டின் புரட்சி இயக்குனர் என புகழப்படும் எஸ்.ஏ.சந்திரசேகர் இயக்கும் 'சட்டப்படி குற்றம்' படத்தில் இளைய தளபதியார் நிச்சயம் 'நட்புக்காக' ரோலில் நடித்தே தீர வேண்டும் என்று விஜய்க்கு அன்புக்கட்டளை போட்டுள்ளாராம்.

ஸ்ரீகாந்த்திற்கு இன்ப அதிர்ச்சி கொடுத்த நண்பன் படக்குழு
ஷங்கர் இயக்கத்தில் விஜய், சத்யராஜ், இலியானா, ஜீவா, ஸ்ரீகாந்த், எஸ்.ஜே. சூர்யா என நட்சத்திர பட்டாளம் நடிக்கும் படம் 'நண்பன்'. இதில் விஜய்க்கு ஜோடியாக நடிக்கிறார் இலியானா. சமீபத்தில் டேராடூன்னில் நடந்த ஷூட்டிங் ஸ்பாட்டில் நண்பன் படக்குழு ஸ்ரீகாந்த்திற்கு ஒரு இன்ப அதிர்ச்சி அளித்தது. நடிகர் ஸ்ரீகாந்த்தின் பிறந்தநாள் தினமான நேற்று (28 பிப்ரவரி) நண்பன் படக்குழு பிறந்தநாள் கேக் வெட்டி ஸ்ரீகாந்த்தின் பிறந்தநாளை கொண்டாடியது. தன்னுடைய சினிமா கேரியரில் கிடைத்த நண்பன் பட வாய்ப்பை மறக்க முடியாத எனக் கருதிய ஸ்ரீகாந்த், இந்த பிறந்தநாளை நான் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் மறக்க மாட்டேன் என்று கூறினார்.
Nanban’s birthday celebrations
The Nanban team, including Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, director Shankar, is now in Dehradun to shoot a major portion of the film there. The director had initially planned to start the shooting of Nanban in Dehradun but changed the location to Ooty where he shot the first schedule.
With Vijay joining the Nanban team, the entire unit had left for Dehradun recently. On the sets yesterday, Srikanth, who plays an important role in the film, celebrated his birthday. Vijay, Jiiva, Shankar and others made the occasion special by arranging a small party for the actor.
