Vijay plays the role of a villager in Velayutham while Genelia plays a journalist. The shooting of this film is almost over barring a couple of songs and few scenes. Sources close to the Velayutham team say that the lead pair, Vijay and Genelia, will soon travel to a foreign country to film a song sequence.
It is expected that director Jeyam Raja will wrap up the shooting of Velayutham by April end so that the film could hit the screens for Vijay’s birthday, which falls on June 22.
Velayutham stars Vijay, Genelia, and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles and the film is produced by Aascar Ravichandran.
