Vijay’s clash with the Titans

There are four releases lined up for Pongal – Ilaignan, Siruthai, Aadukalam and Kavalan. Of these four films, Ilaignan has been certified by the Censor Board with a U certificate.

Ilaignan has lyricist Pa. Vijay playing the lead while Siruthai, Aadukalam and Kavalan are the heavy weights with leading heroes of Kollywood - Karthi, Dhanush and Vijay playing the lead roles respectively.

Despite three films releasing with top stars, Ilaignan’s prospects seems to be bright as it is banking on the Tamil Nadu CM M. Karunanidhi’s backing, as it is written by him.
