Stars shine on Ilaya Thalapathy

With successive flops like Sura, Vettaikaran, Azhagiya Thamizh Magan and Villu, Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay was almost written off and his career graph appeared to travel south. But the phoenix that he is, Vijay sprang up to action and silenced all his critics with an impressive Kaavalan.

And now, he has enviable projects in his kitty. Nanban with the established mainstream commercial director Shankar, Velayudham with Jeyam Raja who has the most desirable success record, Pagalavan with the firebrand Seeman and to top it all, Ponniyin Selvan with the ace director of India Mani Ratnam with whom every star worth his or her salt would give away everything to work under him. This only goes on to prove ‘life is one big circle, there is nothing stationary here’. Here is wishing Vijay many more successful years.
