Vijay’s Kaavalan directed by Siddique has got good response all over the world and has given Vijay a new image. It is known that Kaavalan is a remake of the Malayalam film Bodyguard and that this film is being made in Hindi too with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead helmed by Siddique once again. Not wanting to be left behind, the Telugu industry is also to remake Kaavalan in Telugu.
It is also confirmed that popular actor Venkatesh who recently reprised Rajinikanth’s role in the Telugu remake of Chandramukhi, has accepted to play the lead in the Telugu Bodyguard. The hunt is on for the heroine and the rest of cast. Looks like remakes are here to stay as every language seem to be borrowing from the others.
