Vijay seems to be embroiled in a new political controversy. Recently, Vijay’s absence at the reception and wedding of producer Dayanidhi Alagiri, grandson of the current chief minister of Tamil Nadu, was conspicuous. Is it a deliberate attempt from Vijay’s side to show his close proximity to the AIADMK? Apparently no, says sources close to the star.The Ilayathalapathy is busy shooting for Velyudham and so could not take time off to attend the wedding.
