Vijay hands it over to Nayan

Ilayathalapathy Vijay was in Kochi to attend the Asianet Awards. Nayantara, who was adjudged the best actress for her role in Bodyguard, came on stage to receive the award from Vijay.

When requested to address her fans, the actress merely thanked everyone for the award before retiring to her seat.

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and Vijay were the chief guests at this event which was well-attended by all the popular stars from Mollywood including Mohanlal and Mammootty.
